How it is done

The way I learned to draw, I would use a grid pattern like what you see here. the grid spaces are 1"x1" on my drawing surface. on the photo that I am drawing from, the grid spaces are 1/4"x1/4". this = a 1:4 ratio.

In the digital world, the grid is the same ,but I do not have to erase the grid when I am done. I just turn it off. I also do not have to erase the outline. I just draw over it in color.

This is the start of the color or fill-in process, bit by bit. what you see here is about 2 weeks of work. I like to draw the      background as I go.
